Beautiful property and incredible hosts . Kosta and Pamela were so welcoming and made us feel so at home , like we’ve known them forever ! Pamela makes homemade cheeses , with one of the best Greek salads we ate in greece. The pool and view was incredible. The room was clean and spacious . We will return to Sifnos just to come back to this hotel and stay here again !

Sifnos Hotel Benaki, hotel in Faros

Offering rooms with a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea or the village, Benaki Hotel is located on the beachfront of Platis Gialos in Sifnos. A snack bar and sun terrace are included.

The location and property were perfect for what we needed. The hotel and rooms are as pictured. A comfortable large light and airy room with a mini fridge and air conditioner. The hotel is across from a wonderful beach. Although it's in a tourist location it was quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. a small number of bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants are all nearby. It's not an overcrowded tourist area. There is a bus service to the main town, however worth hiring a car to explore the island.

Myrto Hotel, hotel in Faros

Myrto Hotel is just 650 ft from the blue flag Kamares Beach. Rooms enjoy magnificent views of the port, beach and mountains. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel.

We didn’t know that breakfast was included but no issues as we probably could have asked and they would have provided. Margarita and her husband are truly wonderful, and their hospitality is second to none. I would highly recommend reserving a room here as its close to the port and easy to get to.

ALK Hotel, hotel in Faros

This Cycladic-style hotel in Sifnos offers a bar with panoramic terrace and air-conditioned rooms with sea or mountain views. The pristine beach of Agia Marina is only 328 feet away.

Excellent and generous breakfast. The shower was too tiny. The service was exceptional. Had we known how small the room was, we would have opted for a larger room. The online ad did not reveal how tight the room was. The balcony was an added-value feature, but that did not compensate for the lack of sitting space in the room. That room would be perfect for a single tenant, a smaller bed, and some armchair.

What Guests Said About Faros:

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.
