The level of detail in the rooms is amazing. Really impressed. Clean, tidy, welcoming....and plenty of teabags too!! My single room had a separate private bathroom, and they even supplied a bathrobe for the shuffle in-between.

Just a minute’s walk from the fantastic views of South Bay, The Waves is a Victorian house, with stylish, comfortable and luxurious guest bedrooms and a guest lounge complete with 1970s jukebox. At The Waves guests are offered a full English breakfast with free-range sausages and bacon, delicious vegetarian choices alongside smoked salmon, smashed avocado and halloumi and an extensive list of continental options. All ingredients all locally sourced with a focus on free-range and fair trade supplies. The luxurious rooms are individually decorated and come equipped with Egytian cotton linens, thick fluffy towels, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen smart TV, modern bathrooms and complimentary toiletries from Noble Isle. Conveniently located - the beach, town center and Stephen Joseph Theater can all be reached in 15 minutes on foot. The famous cliff elevator leading to Scarborough Spa complex can be reached in a minutes walk. Free parking is provided either on our private driveway or by free permit for on-street spaces. Helpful hosts live on-site and are available to answer any questions you may have.

The Waves is a beautiful Victorian villa built around 1870. The property has been thoughtfully restored and contains many original features. Our seven rooms are individually designed and decorated with reclaimed wooden furnishings. We are passionate about making your stay at the Waves special so please do not hesitate to contact us should you require anything at all during your stay. The Waves is not suitable for children under the age of 12, nor do we accept pets.

Our 7 rooms are individually designed and decorated to a high standard, bathrooms feature rainfall showers. The property has been beautifully restored and retains many original features. Our guests' comfort is our top priority so they are equipped with high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, thick luxurious towels and goose down and feather pillows. They have televisions, well-stocked tea and coffee trays and hairdryers. We have a guest lounge complete with books, board games and jukebox for our guests' enjoyment. We serve an excellent breakfast in our attractive dining room using the best local produce. We are well located for all major attractions in Scarborough - less than a mile from the station, Stephen Joseph Theatre and town centre and just 0.5 miles from Scarborough Spa and the South Bay.

Neighborhood info

Our immediate surroundings; We are situated in the South Cliff area of South Bay and are around a 12 - 15 minute walk to the town centre, station, beach and Spa Complex. The nearest local shops are in the Ramshill area – these include a post office, pubs, Sainsburys Local with cash machine, cafes, pharmacy, taxi firm and local takeaways.
