Located in the village of Coxwold, the family-run The Fauconberg is a historical country inn with a bar and a restaurant. With live music and theatrical performances, it offers free private parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Dating back to the 17th century, The Fauconberg offers rooms with a flat-screen TV, radio, and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries. Featuring our main bar (complete with cosy fireplace), back bar (where the music is always only a moment away), restaurant offering high quality classic English cuisine with a Fauconberg twist, and our function room to the rear of the building, The Fauconberg is fully equipped to offer you that relaxing weekend away, as well as a highly charged entertaining stay.
Coxwold was voted the second best village in Britain on TV's The Property List a few years ago. It is an excellent base from which to explore the vast and varied landscape of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The nearby market towns of Thirsk, Easingwold and Helmsley offer many small boutique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants and the historic city of York is only a short drive away, offering great shopping as well as a host of museums and visitor attractions.
