We have an amazing view from the house and the dining area in particular. We are central in the scattered village of Staffin with beautiful views all around. Good heating .
We welcome guests to a homely and friendly B and B. We provide a good variety for breakfast, either continental or Full Scottish. We are both Gaelic speakers which was our first language and are happy to be seeing a revival of the language now through School and even a Gaelic College, now Part of the University of the Highlands and Islands.
Staffin is an area of crofting (small farm areas). Mostly grazed by sheep but you will also see cows. There are a couple of good small community shops. They mainly stock food and some toiletries.You can use a good laundry (self service) at Staffin Stores and the other Shop, The Village Shop has fuel pumps and a takeaway food service. In the winter time they both close about 6pm. This is a small, friendly neighbourhood. Plenty walks around the Staffin area. The well known landmarks of the Quiraing and the Storr provide lots of walking opportunities and the views around the coast are wonderful including from the Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls and Duntulm Castle as well as the Dinosaur footprints at Staffin Bay beach and also in other nearby spots.
