Hotel Esprit d’Azur is a two minute walk from the tram and six minutes from the local bus. Room is as spotless and in good shape. The bed was very comfortable. Room was small but we enough space for a suitcase, two backpacks, one carry-on bag. The shower in the bathroom required extreme care as the tub was narrow and there were no grab bars. The room was warm because the room HVAC systems had not been converted to A/C, so the room could not get cooler than 22centigrade. In fact, turning the A/C on blew out warm air. We did open a window, but there is some road noise. The best part of the hotel was the front desk staff. They were ultra friendly and helpful in giving directions on how to get to places, both location-wise and transportation-wise. The breakfasts provided a variety of foods, enough to keep us energized until lunch. We would return to this wonderfully-located hotel.
