We had an amazing two night stay at the lodge in August, different activities to choose from, great staff, great food. The hiking trails around the lodge varied in length and difficulty, but I would highlight that for beginner hikers these trails Had fairly uneven ground: you can imagine a fair amount of roots, stones, and narrow trails. So if you are a beginner or are looking for trails with more even ground then this might not be the right environment for you. It was lovely to be surrounded by mountains and just soak up the natural beauty. There is no cell network and no Wi-Fi so you will be unplugged. There is also a one and ahalf hour shuttle ride to and from the lodge which is a bit bumpy. With this experience I think next time I would book at least three nights at the lodge to have two full days, at least, To enjoy the setting.
