We had a suite that had a kitchenette, sofa and table/chairs. The beach was steps away. Cabana chairs were set up in the morning so we could watch the sunrise. Each chair on the beach and in pool area had a QR code to order drinks delivered. The bar/restaurant was excellent- fun live music. We had a party of 6 and were sat around a fire pit on comfy couches.

Marathon is a great stop before going to key west or if you want to fish or do activities. KW isn't a great destination for that. Marathon is much quieter but also closes early.
I'd much rather stay in Marathon for a longer part and do an overnight in KW.

Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok.
Went to Bahia Honda State Park - beaches were ok. They offer paddle boarding and kayak rental there. went on several trails, which were nice. Went on the old 7 mile bridge (cloudy day), but didn't get to see sunrise. Drove out to see mini deers and got to see a glimpse of one (it was not near sunset or sunrise, which is the time they recommend you go to see them).

I am extremely picky and I can say that this resort is simply amazing. Spotless. Cleanest place I have ever visited with all the luxury you could expect. Best resort in the keys ! Don’t hesitate to book this. You will not find better
I don’t know where I begin !!!! AMAZING 🙌🏻 super clean , calm , quiet , relaxing place , I can’t explain you have to experience it , the staff beyond than helpful. The lady at the front desk were super attentive. I am in love with this place. I’m super picky when it comer to rent for vacations and I nailed it this time better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at the Fl Keys. Highly recommended!!!!!!
Marathon is a great place to stay for a Keys trip. Halfway between Miami and Key West. There are lots of things to do. The Marriott Courtyard Marathon is exceptional. The staff was the best. The pool is right on the Gulf of Mexico. Drinks and food service poolside. We will definitely be back.
Eva and Mai at the front desk were especially helpful!
Room (suite on 2nd floor) was good size and clean with a great view. Beds were actually very comfy. Beautiful property behind hotel on beach. Tiki huts to keep cool or dry and many chairs to sit on or get sun on the beach and under palm trees. Close to ocean. Pool was very clean and warm without being hot. Nice continental breakfast with coffee.
One of the few places with real beach feeling (sand beach) on the middle keys, that served as a perfect retreat for our family at the end of a long Florida trip. We enjoyed the Key-West-like beach house with nice seaside views.
The butterfly restaurant was a real gem - book at least one time during your stay a dinner table.
The hotel is in a good location (Marathon, near the main street) and rich in services for free like pool towels, and if you want to go to the beach they provide you with ybeach towels, sun umbrellas and other accessories. By the pool, every night you may enjoy live music. The staff is really nice and supportive.
The resort was a little bit shabby but it felt like they were trying to improve it. I found a ton of broken glass on the beach as if they had taken down a structure but never cleaned it up. The staff was not terribly professional but overall they tried hard.
The heated jacuzzi and pool was great for the kids.
Breathtaking property right in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Everything was simply amazing and felt like a dream. Well worth the money spent.
The room was large, very clean, and with a spectacular view over the ocean.
The property is stunning, with a lively and welcoming staff.
We felt home.
Very convenient to go around the Keys, it's located right on the main street at a short distance from Marathon and Leyton. Price/quality is good for the area, where every other accommodation is usually at least $50/100 more per night.
On The Water and great location! Great staff!! Charlotte and Lady and Manny are great valued staff for this hotel! Great housekeeping staff and Rosa is very good cleaning rooms!!!
The staff was friendly the room was clean the shower was great the bathroom fixtures were new and unlike most other high priced Ripoff hotels in The Keys the price was reasonable
The room and the general setup of the hotel are super. Especially the salt water pool/lake are a nice idea. The location on the way from Miami to the keys was perfect to us.
